The Population Change Institute envisions a world where all people achieve their fullest potential, with the opportunities and resources to leverage their individual and collective power. We accelerate positive outcomes for communities disproportionately impacted by systemic inequities. 

To do this, we create a practice space for place-based population change initiatives to strengthen their capacity, networks, and the field. By participating in this space, community-led initiatives are able to move faster together to solve their most pressing challenges at scale.

Recognizing that population change cannot be achieved through any one organization or group, the Population Change Institute takes a multi-faceted approach to our work. Our services, are responsive to the gaps identified by practitioners, focus on strengthening communities’ capacity, networks, and the field of place-based population change. As our partners come to us at different points along their own journeys of learning, growth, and development, our services can be adapted and targeted to best meet evolving and emerging needs.

The Communications Manager works with the Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships to maintain and manage the voice and brand of  the Population Change Institute.  They will maintain a mature brand that is both powerful and positive.  The Communications Manager will work closely with the Managing Director and Project Leads to collect content and share information about the initiatives.  They will be able to connect the initiative work to the big picture vision of the organization.  The Communications Manager will manage all areas of communications and develop content alongside the pace of the organization.
